Animal by-products regulations approval
In a review meeting on the 10 August 2007 the State Veterinary Service granted the Tower 3 Initial Approval as all the necessary tests had been passed.
Full approval for the plant was granted in September 2007 by Animal Health (formerly known as State Veterinary Service) for the new NTDP tower 3.
Animal Health highlighted that whilst the existing two towers were already approved they required renewal within 12 months. A new application for all three towers was submitted following the meeting.
